Hi (sorry for my bad english),

I've installed "com_ccboard_0-2-2" on "Joomla! 1.5.0 Production/Stable [ Takriban ] 5-October-2007 21:00 GMT" and everything went well, Joomla said: "Installation succesfull".

But...

When i go to "Components" and click on "ccBoard"  i get the following message:

Joomla! was unable to locate the stated resource
Method not found:edit

And when i go in the Front-end to "Forumlist" i get the following errors:

Warning: JLoader::include(/home/users/zorgjftp/zorgconsult.nl/site/libraries/joomla/filesyste/file.php) [function.JLoader-include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/users/zorgjftp/zorgconsult.nl/site/libraries/loader.php on line 83

Warning: JLoader::include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/users/zorgjftp/zorgconsult.nl/site/libraries/joomla/filesyste/file.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /home/users/zorgjftp/zorgconsult.nl/site/libraries/loader.php on line 83

Can annyone help me?

Hi,

I think it is not the problem of ccBoard. I came to understand that, the loader.php is old. You may get more insight on the following url.

Joomla Forum

Hope this helps

Thanks

Thomas

WHOA, why are you using J! 1.5.0?  That is horribly out of date and has several security holes.  go to joomla and get the NORMAL version.  Which as of this date is 1.5.8.  The model has changed dramatically since 1.5.0 and 1.6 will be out soon.  I would not trust anything to work with early 1.5.x releases.  1.5.7 is considered the baseline for development at this time.

also, why are you trying the nightly builds?  Are you a dev? If not you should not be using those as they are expected to not function.  They are strictly for devs, and those who like to see whats coming down the pipe.  But are EXPECTED to not function.  Think of them as a "work in progress".  Releases are "ok, this works and is a good next step"  Stable is "ok, this works, we think we found all the bugs that we can fix"  Beta is "ok, I think this works, at least all major functions.. lets see if anyone has problems and if so we'll fix those till we get a problem free version"  SVN/Nightly Build is "Hey thomas, i fixed this word, hey Troy I added this function, now lets see what else we can fix/break."
