i have installed ccBoard correctly but is still experiencing the problem with the forum not showing properly in Google Chrome but its fine in firefox, plz can u help me with any ideas on how to fix this, i dont want to have to let the site be restricted to certain internet browsers. i have attached the images of how they both look on my website.  now the firefox view

Hi, Some of the properties on your template is creating this problem. The best bet would be installing firebug-lite on your server and check with the Chrome browser. Because to test with firebug, you need to install firebug-lite on your server. I would be glad to help you out if you need any further assistance. Thanks Thomas |

Hi Thomas, Just want to say, CC Board seems awesome, I have just installed it on a friends site as well, I am now getting the same problem where it doesn't work in Chrome, I have ran firebug-lite with Chrome open but can't really tell what I'm looking for? Can you ellaborate? Thanks Jaxx :) |

Hi, You have to check on the common table properties on the template css file. These problems are specific to your template and without SITE URL I cant be of much help. Hope this helps Thanks Thomas |

Hi again, first of all: I'm sorry for posting the same thing twice. I have changed this value at ccboard.css: table.ccbnormaltable { table-layout: fixed; width:100%; border:none; border-collapse: collapse;} to table.ccbnormaltable { table-layout: fixed; width:730px; border:none; border-collapse: collapse;} It is not the best way to solve this problem but it works. I don't know why opera and chrome doesn't works with relative width (%) at www.udtecnovirtual.org. |
