Hi,

I'm using CCBoard 0.3.0, and there's a little navigation bug here : Forum link in the top menu brings me to the forum page, where I also have a jomsocial module. Everything's fine here. But when I navigate the board,  "Accueil" link in the topmenu is highlighted, even when I come back to the forum home, so my jomsocial module doesn't show up. I must click on the forum link in the topmenu every time to see this module.

My site

Could you tell me what's wrong ?

Seb

Hi,

Joomla is using ItemId for hiding/visible modules. Unfortunately ccBoard is not keeping the ItemID as part of the URL, that is why your module got disappeard.

Shall be fixed with the next release.

Thanks

Thomas

Hi,

Initially I have a plan for the next release by Feb endTongue out, though lately I decided to hold back for a while. The main purpose of this was to incorporate most of the features and move towards RC (Release candidate). As the downloads are already crossed 10K markCool and things are getting stable.

So you can a expect a full blown ccboard with lots of whistles within no timeSmile

Thanks

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

I don't wanna open a new topic, cause this topic is still open.

You said:

When will the next release be published for download? I have some troubles with ccBoard & ItemID, so I am really really really waiting for the next release. It should be great when the problem with the ItemID is solved.

ccBoard is a forum that realy fits my needs.

Could you answer my question?

Thank you

Hello Thomas,

Nice work, your forum rocks ! Only one thing I don't understand is why the modules don't remain in place when clicking from last post for example and being redirected to the forum and also when navigating into the forum ? Is there a way to keep them displayed all the time (without the option of displaying the module for ALL webpages ?). It sounds like it is hard to work on this. I had the same problem with fireboard. I don't know if there is a forum somewhere which can solve this ?

Anyway, if you can help telling me where to change the script if it is possible ?

Thank you Thomas. Nice work. I like the style.

Hi,

The modules are displayed based on your template and module settings. This is how Joomla controls the visibilty of modules while rendering. It is one of the good feature joomla has.

Solution: Goto the module manager, select the module and set Menu Assignment option visible always.

Hope this helps

Thanks
