Hello,

Your tool is perfect for the backend! but i'm looking to built a system, therefore what I need is something like ccQuery which I can implement for the front end where I can  execute a query, users can then edit those query results and/or delete those records. Note: This is a query and not a table so I will have to create my own update/delete queries which is fine but is there anything like ccQuery and my above request which can be made/is available? either from ccQuery or other solutions via Joomla 1.5x?

 Thanks

doing so quite frankly is horrendously foolish due to the numerous security issues involved with that. I can not even begin to think of how many loopholes would have to be tied down to make other tables/fields safe from the users. Don't put your database out to the world that's just asking for a mountain of trouble.

hello,
hmm the website that i'm building is exactly for that purpose, allowing users to edit/delete records. i'm using joomla because i think it has a lot of inbuilt functions that I need, but im just missing a tool like ccQuery for the front end & not the backend, any idea's guys?
The website is more as a web system, not really as a website...
Cheers
