ccQuery is a good extension with precise programming, nice joomla-suited design.

But I do not get the purpose of this extension. If someone has experience with databases, he can use phpMyAdmin; it has the same (and more) functionality. If someone do not know SQL, ccQuery can cause more problem than use.

Can you tell me why I should use this instead of phpMyAdmin?

If someoone doesn't know SQL then surely PHPmyAdmin is going to get them in even deaper water!

ccQ is a handy tool as it's available from within the very app that's using it.

I was wondering what cc Query was, and I now have my answer :) - It actually saves some time being able to administer it all from one location - that and i don't have to keep hunting for myphpadmin login

That would be great. I understand that you're not obliged to do any of this development, but just an idea of what's going on would be excellent.

At the moment I don't even know if its just happening to a few of us, or whether the option is greyed out for everyone; whether its a combination of OS and software versions, or what!

Also if there's anything I can do to help in terms of testing, or feedback, I'd be glad to help out.
