I had problems with the installation of latest version of ccBoard
as written in my post here http://codeclassic.org/index.php?option=com_ccboard&view=postlist&forum=11&topic=1469&Itemid=69

so I installed the version 0.3.0 and tried the migration, but I get following errors

when I select Global configuration:
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/adorewed/public_html/administrator/components/com_ccboard/ccboard-config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php52/pear') in /home/adorewed/public_html/administrator/components/com_ccboard/models/general.php on line 26

when I select Tools:
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/adorewed/public_html/administrator/components/com_ccboard/ccboard-config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php52/pear') in /home/adorewed/public_html/administrator/components/com_ccboard/models/tools.php on line 14

How can I fix this?

Ok, I think I fixed it, file ccboard-config.php was missing in administrator/component/com_ccboard

I copied this file from latest release installation package to FTP and now seems to work
I can see Global Configuration and also Tools

can you confirm that now I won't have problem in making the forum work properly?

I think there wont be any problem. Please make sure that you have copied the css file also.

I have got the similar problem. The friend of mine has a joomla pages with ccboard 0.1.0, it is a bit old :-) He wanted to upgrade to some better forum. And i found out that ccboard made some evolution so i decided to upgrade to latest version, because it is always better to use the same than migrate MYSQL to other forum. I downloaded all 1.2-RC migration kit and i have overwriten all files in joomla installation as it is described in migration Steps. When i came into the ccboard administration panel and i clicked on global configuration, the next page come all white (blank) any idea where is the problem? Should i first upgrade to 0.3.0 a then to the latest? I did not find any 0.3.0 version to download :-( Thank a lot.
