After Googling and reading the forum I did the following:

Installed JoomFish (I need this for translating the site anyway)
Installed and configured the forum
Copied the ccboard language file to the language directory

The translation hasn't been realised. What am I missing...?

You can upload two archives to web/languages and web/administrator/languages this is my last translation. (rename admin_es-ES to es-ES the file for administrator language) http://www.nonopp.com/es/es-ES.tar.gz

Thank for your post, helped me a lot.

I installed the spanish file correctly but i cant see the tildes las á ó é.

Do i have to use a specific encodig sistem?

As per my knowledge the steps are perfect and nothing is missing out. Actually you specify any error if occuring. That would help us in giving perfect answer.
