Hello,

I noticed the posts list is gone when making a reply, so i was wondering if there is a way to keep posts list visible while writing a reply?

even nicer for load times would just be an alert if someone has posted to the thread while you were typing as you get in SMF

I hope the title explains what I mean a little, but here's the situation;

I have a forum setup which I don't want to be visible on the main list of forums to registered users, but I want to allow them access. It is a 'submission forum' where permissions are set up so that they can only see and reply to threads that they have created. Staff can obvioulsy see all threads. Now, I want to keep the forum hidden on the main list from registered users, but make it visible to staff usergroups... i've had a look and can't see a way to do this, am I missing something?
