Hi, Please enable User registraion from admin panel, under Joomla Global configuration. If you are happy with ccBoard, please do a review/vote at extensions.joomla.org for ccBoard. Thanks Thomas |

lol !! Thanks Thomas. I thought that option was enabled but client disabled it. Now I'll explain him that the option must be enabled if he wants some user to post in his forum |

why Joomla layout by default for new user registration look like:
index.php?option=com_user&view=register
in ccBoard:
index.php?option=com_user&task=register What's the difference? In the second case, users do not always receive your activation email... |

Actually I didnt give much thought about that, though I have copied the link from the Home Page Registration Link :)... So obviously it should work.

Hello
I join this topic because i v got same pb or i think it s same but i check User registraion from admin panel, under Joomla Global configuration it s always enable
New User Registration Type set to register
New User Account Activation set ti yes
i unistall ccboard componant then reinstall i ve got two strange result
First one ccboard came back in French ( Maybe pb came because of my different try to localiz it in French)
then I still have same pb even if all categories and forum i was set up was delete
I m so near to get what i want with CCBoard after trying a lot of other forum plug ins, I'm sure it's this one i wish
Please could you help me |

Well I find how to get out of this issus by myself.
I ll try to explain here could be help someone else
so ,i go in admin control panel then in extension manger then finaly in component section enable user and user manager.
and that's work even if registration page is in english i ll check how to localiz and then i ll be able to start my forum. Last step before notice new web site in production to everyybody
