I went ahead and implmented the subscribe to forum button. I also made a backed administration of it so an administrator can subscribe/unsubscribe people to forums.

I modified so many files that you will need to use SVN to integrate them. No other way.

Do you want the code now or after I implment the followign features:

• Tweak Email Notification
  
  1. I will make the emails that are sent to people more helpful by including the name of the poster, and removing some redundant commentary, perhaps showing the leading up thread.
  2. Not send an email to the person who posts the topic. (Q. Should this be a standard feature or should I add an option to the backed?)
• Moderator Subscribe User to Topic.
  
  1. I imagine a drop down list with all the users names. Some will be highlighted to show who is subscribed.
  2. Backend option to allow or disallow the action.
  3. I had thought of allowing a message to be sent to the person being subscribed, but don't want to take that on. Perhaps someone else will do this.
• Interface tweaks
  
  1. A number of interface annoyances that can be fixed with css. Most of them happen with a narrow screen.

In any case, I am subscribed to this topic, so when ever you want to commit the features, you can just request them from me. I will continue to work away on them.

I installed the extension.. everything works fine! except when I copy the file (es-ES.com_ccboard.ini) to folder: /joomla/language/es-ES

when I copy the file, in the Board Statistics Section appears stuff like this:

Hi -- We are putting together a new website using Joomla and ccBoard. Everything is working fine but apparently the ccBoard comes without any pre-made Avatars just Mr. Cloak Guy. I was able to upload one so the fucntion is working. Is there anyplace I can go to get some nice, generic avatars to offer members? Thanks!

Hey Thomas been almost a year since we've seen any of the requests for growth come out.  Whats the status of ccb?  Some of the sorely needed functionality not yet impletmented IMHO is...

1. Sub forums
2. full implemenation of default editor so that plugins and such function just as in articles.
3. autochange deleted username to some preset
4. deleted post updates lastest / most popular post mods
5. rank's still don't set properly.
6.  sort by rank in user list.
7. bbcode support without having to use ccboard editor.

i think that the problem is on server becouse i instal on my friend server joomla and ccboard (same versions) and there is no problem.

Also yesterday i instaled community builder and i have similar message.If i want add in CB Field Manager new field it showin me a white page with:

where is a problem?

Hello guys if you go to www.badmojoo.nl and open the forum you see what i mean. The current Joomla template does not leave a lot of space for the forum and it is too cropped.

IF i make it open in a new window it looks perfect but as soon as i click a forum link the joomla template is back again.
So maby there is a way to keep that hidden?

OR

Make the Right Modules of the site hide to give the forum more space there.

Any of the two solutions will work for me but i have little experience in this so a little help is required.

Posting works with only SEF URLS enabled but not if I also enable mod_rewrite.  I am reloading the site after making changes.

Is there something in the .htaccess file I need to add or modify to make this work?  I have no 3rd party SEO/SEF components installed.
