STEP - 1

• Take a back up of your existing Joomla! site
• Download migration_ccboard-1_0_RC.zip from http://codeclassic.org/the-downloads.html
• Unzip migration_ccboard-1_0_RC.zip to a temporary folder
• Copy the contents of including files and sub folders to your Joomla installation root directory
• Over write the existing files 
• Delete the following file from your existing
  /components/administrator/components/com_ccboard/tables/
  (Applicable only for version prior to 0.3.0).
     a) user.php
     b) category.php
     c) forum.php
     d) topic.php
     e) post.php
• Login into administration panel and clear the cache

STEP - 2

• Select the ccBoard menu from components in the administration panel
• Select Global configuration as displayed below

• Save the Configuration by clicking save button as displayed below

  STEP - 3

•  Select Tools Menu from ccBoard Dashboard in the admin panel as displayed below

• Click Upgrade DB as displayed below

STEP - 4

•  Now create a default Rank by selecting the Rank Manager from the dashboard

•  Now create a default Rank by selecting new button as displayed below

• Now fill in the Rank details as displayed below and Click save once it is finished

STEP - 5

• Select Tools Menu again from ccBoard Dashboard in the admin panel.
• And Click Synchronize Button as displayed below
